Diane is a class action and commercial litigation lawyer and has carried several high-profile class action matters in the Federal and State Supreme courts in Australia, in relation to financial services, insurance, general consumer claims, automotive class actions, and mass personal injury claims.
Diane is experienced in litigating and resolving matters across a range of areas including pre-trial disputes, reference proceedings, mediations, conferrals and conciliations and in cross-border jurisdictions. Diane has also consulted and worked on secondments in both the government and private sector.
Diane holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sydney and is a founding member of the UNCITRAL National Coordination Committee in Australia, an Australian based agency for the UN Commission of International Trade Law. Diane has participated in several Working Groups for UNCITRAL since 2011 where new international legal rules and instruments have been created on Micro Finance, Electronic Commerce and International Arbitration. She has also had numerous articles and papers published by the New York State Bar, UNCITRAL and UNCITRAL RCAP in relation to UNCITRAL Working Groups.
Diane is also a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA) and has a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.
