She is recognised for her ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks, particularly with the Queensland Body Corporate and Community Management (BCCM) Act and Regulations and the Queensland Trust Accounts Regulations.

Her career began in hospitality and property services, where she developed strong foundations in customer relations, operational compliance, and administration. Over 15 years with Accor Hotels (previously Mantra Group), Kahlia advanced through roles in owner relations, project coordination, and compliance, developing a reputation for precision, adaptability, and dependable service delivery across large portfolios.

She recently departed Smarter Communities after 3 years, where she held leadership roles in training, compliance and repairs & maintenance; interpreting legislation, managing contractors, and ensuring operational excellence across Queensland portfolios.
